There is a rip-off going round that entails impersonating ransomware group BianLian, warns the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

On Thursday, the FBI issued a warning that describes the rip-off. Ransoms letters (yep, snail mail) are despatched to company executives claiming to be from “BianLian Group,” a recognized Russian ransomware gang, saying they’ve infiltrated the group’s community and demand fee to a Bitcoin pockets or else delicate data can be revealed on its community.
