Netflix has launched a teaser trailer for Culinary Class Wars, a South Korean cooking competitors sequence that appears like a cross between Iron Chef and MasterChef. I’m instantly obsessed.
Culinary Class Wars pits 100 cooks in opposition to one another, divided into two teams. The primary are the Black Spoons, comprised of dwelling restaurant cooks, pub homeowners, cafeteria employees, and different humble meals trade employees. They’re going to be competing with the White Spoons, a gaggle of Michelin-starred and superstar cooks who’ve already made their mark within the culinary world. Contestants might be steadily whittled down till Culinary Class Wars can crown the most effective chef in South Korea.
“With this international Netflix launch, we wished to showcase the unimaginable range of culinary consultants in Korea,” stated co-director Kim Eun-ji. “We chosen 100 contestants with distinctive culinary philosophies, representing a variety of cuisines together with Korean, Western, Chinese language, Japanese, and fusion.”
Culinary Class Wars arrives Sept. 17 on Netflix.
