Halsey began doing her personal make-up “principally out of necessity” as a result of her first label had principally male artists and no finances for her styling. She mentioned, “I noticed I did not have entry to the identical sources as a few of my different friends, particularly my feminine or, like, female-presenting friends. And so, I used to be like, ‘Okay, properly, I am not going to fall behind. I simply want to determine learn how to do it myself.'”
